Salome David’s brother-in-law, Kadrick Donnelly Davids (28), from Johannesburg went missing in Port Elizabeth on Thursday 28 November 2013.
Salome and family immediately reported him as missing at the Bethelsdorp Police Station and began appealing for anyone who may have seen Kadrick to please contact them on one of the following numbers: 078 757 0908 or 041 482 1751 or Salome at work on 041 399 7080/7029. Salome can also be contacted on email: salome.barkes[at]absa.co.za.
It is now almost three weeks later and still no sign of the missing Davids. See the original appeal here: Have you seen this man?
Today’s update from Salome doesn’t appear to bode well, though as she says;
A Dawie phoned my father in law, telling him that he found a bag buried at Noordhoek Beach with clothes and toiletries in, he was looking for any item that could help him find the owner of the bag thinking maybe it was a lost bag. He had found an MTN statement in the bag and phoned us. My husband and my brother went straight away to go and meet Dawie where he showed them where they found the bag, apparently it is in a very isolated area in Noordhoek. But why was the bag buried?
I phoned 10111 where I gave the information as I don’t know who to give this information to at Bethelsdorp police stationas they don’t seem willing to take ownership. They keep on telling me that McCarthy and Zntsontwa are dealing with this case and that I should phone later or tomorrow. What do I need to do to get the police to search that area?
Please help.
Regards
Salome.
