Proof that we breed ’em young down here in Port Elizabeth comes from Nicholas Donachie (2yrs), Ivan Strauss (3yrs) and Mikhail Strauss (1yr) who all took part in the Kingfisher FM 1km Kids Beach Run/Walk on Sunday morning 6 November with Mikhail the youngest finisher in a time of 17 minutes and 31 seconds.
The regular Ocean Racing Series down on Hobie Beach is turning into a real family event with Mom and Dad swimming and the kids going for a 1 kilometre beach run / walk. Maybe Michael Zoetmulder from Zports should open the beach walk / run up to crawlers as well?
