Almost like a visit from James Bond – watch as this rider rises out of the ‘mist’ from the waters of the North End Lake on his flyboard. The Flyboard was invented in spring 2011 by a French watercraft rider, Franky Zapata. He built many prototypes before perfecting the design which allows the device to climb out of the water and be stable in the air. Watch as our Port Elizabeth rider rises out of the water, chickens out when a boat comes too close and then flies across the water as we see the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the background.
