Have you seen how disastrous the IPTS has been for PE Business?

With the Mayor at the wheel, kick back and relax with forty winks – you are assured of getting to your destination safely.

Take a drive down Govan Mbeki and Kempston Road to witness the closed businesses along the proposed/failed/disastrous IPTS route and consider for one moment just how gut wrenchingly devastated property and business owners must feel? The negative marketing that the city has doled out to citizens is immense.

At the recent indaba between the new city political regime and organised business I did not hear one person say that the IPTS should be attended to and finalised or scrapped – it has been so long since the stalled project became a white elephant that that part of the city has become a forgotten no-go area.

This is an open invitation to every business along the proposed Integrated Public Transport System route to have their say on what should be done to fix this.
