Getting your business through tough economic times

21 May 2015 By Alan Straton

The annual NMB Investor Seminar will be taking place on 17 June 2015 at the NMB Stadium from 7:30am and entry is FREE

Now going into its 3rd consecutive year, the Nelson Mandela Bay Investor Seminar will once again take place – giving dialogue and insights to local, national and international business.

The NMB Investor Seminar is aimed at:

  • Youth – Your Money will once again host the Novice Entrepreneur Competition in association with The NYDA. Great prizes and business start-up boosts up for grabs
  • Business – Business owners and SMME’s are encouraged to take exhibition space in PE’s largest business expo (over 2000 feet through the door last year)
  • Corporates – Dialogue between business is vital. The NMB Investor Seminar aims to be this platform in Nelson Mandela Bay
  • Investors – Whether investing in a home, a business or a university education fund, hear from the experts on how to do it correctly!
  • Property owners – The Mandela Bay Development Agency will host a platform aimed particularly at property owners/investors in the city

The key note address this year will be given by Mr Phil Gutsche, who will take us on a trip down memory lane with Coca-Cola Sabco on how they have “weathered the storm” as they celebrate 75 years of being in business in 2015!

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
