Whilst looking for an image of the old Boet Erasmus Stadium to illustrate this article: You Can’t Take the Boet out of Some Rugby Supporters I found an image of one of the die hard EP Rugby supporters of the 2010 era who used to come onto the field at the beginning of the match to hold an EP Banner aloft whilst wearing the craziest pink slippers.
For fear of being ‘moered stukkend’ I never had the courage to ask him his name or why he wore those slippers.
