At last nights NMBBC Shinding I was chatting to my mate Shadleigh who wanted to know if I was going up to Bhisho to cover the EC State of the Province address.
Thankfully I could see no reason to go and wished him God Speed negotiating the roads early this morning.
What transpired out of the ensuing chat about the State of the Province address was that, in the past and for the entire two hours of proceedings, no-one present at the address could use their cell phones as the signal in that area was jammed.
Dear reader, I find this quite incredible to believe and sincerely hope that the P, Eye, Double S was being taken out of me.
If it is indeed true then, for the life of me I cannot understand the twisted paranoid logic behind such an action. Especially when you see that in the Western Cape, old Godzilla’s address was published on that awful Group Sex for Amoebas site at 10:06 a.m. this morning already.
I would love to provide you with a link to our Premier Kiviet’s address but can’t so you will have to be satisfied with toddling off to Facebook and reading Helen Zille’s fresh off the monitor address there.
