The 29-31st of August saw the East Somerset Railway hold their “The Way We Were” event, turning back the clock to the 1930’s through to the 1950’s.

The line were running their pink timetable throughout the event, which consisted of one standard passenger service. In addition, they were also offering their “Driver for a Fiver” offer, allowing members of the public to drive their Andrew Barcley 0-4-0ST
