You may remember the post of 6 December with the pic of one of numerous covers in the streets of Richmond Hill that disappeared under the watchful eye of the SAPS.
Many tyres and rims have been damaged since that time and no one from SAPS nor the municipality seems to care. More holes appeared since then.
Well, when we woke up one morning the edges of the open holes were sprayed with bright red paint making it much easier too see and avoid!!
WELL DONE TO THESE INNOVATORS! It goes to show, you can’t keep the spirit of Richmond Hill down.
However, be very careful not to be caught – the SAPS, may decide to charge you with “Malicious Damage to Property”.

Editor’s Notes: Red for Christmas – nice one. Although maybe some small Christmas Trees in pots would really add to the festive atmosphere.

Haven’t been caught yet …. amazing what a tin of orange spray paint can achieve !!! Jingle bells jingle bells … little Xmas trees might grow …
