We walk the talk.

On 23 October 2020 we will present a Tourism talk promoting township economy through tourism at the Chief Ngqoko tavern starting at 9:00 am.

After a short intro we will embark on an educational walking tour along Ferguson Road to Sheya Kulati Drive and the Mendi memorial.

Meet and hear about the Who’s Who of Ferguson Roadd from the early 50s to date: Vuyo Mvoko, Dongos Malibongwe, Khuse Shupinyanengs, Mlalandles Matomelas, Touchy Duru Grootbooms, Limba Ngqobongwanes and more.

Only by holding hands together will we make a difference in our society.

We are starting by reviving the New Brighton Brotherhood spirit.

Mandla Tyala, Mthobeli Mboya, the late Sazi Ntsondwa, Mpho Heshu and Ncamile Toni left a legacy.

Join Alan W. Straton, Lungelo Ngabaza, Annette du Plessis and Mike Pantsi as we bring back that spirit and pride

We will be happy if people could join us in creating a better life for all.

Want to help engineer a country, city, neighbourhood and society in which all people will Pro-actively Participate, Benefit from and have Fun (PPBF)? Then Join the The Heritage Society.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
