Dear Shell You May Frack Underneath These Farms

With reference to the ‘Proposed South Western Karoo Basin Gas Exploration Project by Shell‘ and in the interests of fair play I have perused the nearly 11 000 farms in the Western, Central and Eastern region that could be affected by your fracking (see: List of Potentially Affected Farms) and have compiled a list of 13 farms that I have no objection to you continuing with hydraulic fracking on.

You may proceed with hydraulic fracking under the following farms in the Western Precint:

  • KAFFERS KRAAL 149
  • KAFFERS KRAAL 42
  • KAFFERSKRAAL 536
  • KAFFERSKRAALSHOEK 276
  • KAFFIR KLOOF 145
  • KAFFIRS PUTS 163
  • KAFIR LEEGTE 252

The other 1600 (more or less) odd are OUT OF BOUNDS.

You may proceed with hydraulic fracking under the following farms in the Central Precinct:

  • KAFFERSKRAAL 536

The other 2400 (more or less) odd are OUT OF BOUNDS.

You may proceed with hydraulic fracking under the following farms in the Eastern Precinct:

  • KAFFIRS BERG 112
  • KAFFIRS HOEK 192
  • KAFFIRS KLOOF 154 1
  • KAFFIRS KRAAL 24
  • KAFIRS LEEGTE 128

The other 7000 (more or less) odd are OUT OF BOUNDS.
