La Casa Restaurant, owned and operated by Chef Mauro Nettl, was devastated by flooding during August 2012. With no sign of the flood water subsiding, Mauro has found a new home for his fine cuisine. On 27 October Mauro took over the operation of the Elephant Walk Restaurant in Colleen Glen. The new venture is known as “Mauro @ the Elephant Walk Restaurant”.
