What a wonderful and reassuring headline to wake up to in this mornings Herald. I must say thank you to our Municipal workers for saying No!! Our streets have not been trashed, the ratepayers can but be grateful and appreciate the sensible reaction of our street workers. As the Ward Councillor for Central this made my day. Control the Sale of Alcohol
The entire methodology employed at present in terms of liquor license applications must be reviewed. I would like to suggest that a moratorium on liquor license applicatons be introduced and during this time a review of all the licences which are currently active be carried out. This action will create a situation where the illegal sale and abuse of alcohol can be addressed.
