Kindred Kitchen Volunteers Will Pick it up from Your Home in Aid of The Red Cross

The coming together of many people, doing just a little bit to help, can have a massive ripple effect on the people around us.

The Kindred Kitchen has been issued a “donation license” to assist the Red Cross with essential item donations and they are asking YOU to get involved.

There are so many people in desperate need of non-perishable food items, sanitary products, soaps, toothpaste & toilet paper.

Volunteers will be driving around Port Elizabeth on Friday morning between 9am and 12pm in 3 vehicles to pick up any donations you are able to give. All pick ups will be done with zero contact. You, the donator, will drop off the package at your gate and volunteers will load them into their cars when you have moved away. Volunteers will have face masks and sanitizers available. Please make sure that you wash your hands and the products (if possible) properly before putting them in the bag.

You are urged to donate anything, even if it’s just one tin of beans from your cupboard. If you are able to give more, that is great! .

Kindred Kitchen cannot thank you enough for your help during this very difficult time and are eager to share the experience and impact that YOU will have on vulnerable people living in our home town.
