In a private sound space, somewhere in the Western Suburbs of Port Elizabeth we have a music producer, Vague Illusion, combining Drum and Bass with Metal.

Now I wonder if I could get young Edward to combine Drum and Bass with a little monastic chanting – could work methinks.

Edward is the main man behind the AirPlus Recordings website, one of the heavier drum & bass producers from South Africa and released his first EP called “Binary”, with 8 monstrous drops including a couple of bonus tracks, on the 11 September 2012.

Edward says; “I do draw some influence from a few drum & bass artists like: Chase and Status, Nu:Tone, Pendulum and Danny Byrd. Other than that it’s all pretty random, but being a pretty big metal head I have to admit a lot of my music does get influenced by these much heavier genres.”
