Local Boat Based Whale and Dolphin Watching Tour Operator, AB Marine has announced cessation of all tours until the end of April 2020.
An announcement on the AB Marine web site says:
AB Marine Whale and Dolphin Watching regrets to inform guests that we will not be conducting any tours until after the end of April 2020.
At that time we will re-assess the situation with regards to the to Coronavirus Pandemic and make a decision.
The current pandemic is a massive blow to our Tourism Industry and we have taken this difficult decision based on the health and well being of our guests.
We are aware that the number of guests per vessel are below the guidelines but are conscious of the fact that many are international and many have traveled from provinces that presently do have Coronavirus cases.
Your safety is vitally important to us.
Any existing vouchers and bookings will be honoured when we resume our trips in Algoa Bay.
We wish you a safe and healthy time as we all come to terms with this pandemic.
