GroundUp saw several patients lying on the floor in Uitenhage Provincial Hospital. A shortage of beds at Uitenhage Provincial Hospital in Kariega has meant some patients have to lie on the floor. On 10/11/2024 NOLA voted Yes in our poll on ending punitive water tariffs. NOLA Says: with the Mpofu dam now reaching the best % capacity since before the drought. Although perhaps not yet 65% all the other storage and feeder dams are full to overflowing. It therefore makes NO sense to make the Metro residents pay a punitive rate for normal water usage.
