With reference to the ‘impasse’ between the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality, Budget and Treasury’s wotholding of the cities equitable share and the MBDA standing their ground and not following instructions from ytheir funders (the Municipality), MyPE asked two Questions of Former Mayor Retief Odendaal:
- Has The Current MBDA ‘Impasse’ Negatively Affected Payments to Suppliers and Contractors? and
- Are the MBDA Employee Salaries at Risk?
This was on the occasion of the DA’s ‘Report Card’ after Current Mayor Gary van Nieker’s 100 Days in Office.
