Thirty-two four-balls teed off at Humewood Golf Club on Friday, October 28 to raise funds for women’s volunteer organisation Soroptimist International in the 18th annual City Lodge Hotel Group Port Elizabeth Charity Golf Day.
More than R56,000 was raised through the golf day to assist the Port Elizabeth branch of Soroptimist International to finance various educational, care and skills development programmes aimed at transforming the lives of women and girls in the Nelson Mandela Bay area.
Holes were sponsored by a wide range of companies and service providers to the City Lodge Hotel Group which has five hotels across four brands in the Eastern Cape’s major city.
