The World Health Organization (WHO) has been disseminating health advisories amid a growing coronavirus outbreak.
The above “jokey” graphic (on the LEFT) blunting that message has been doing the social media rounds.
The WHO’s original graphic, from 27 January 2020, recommended that social media users “avoid unprotected contact with live, wild or farm animals”:
In outbreaks of other #coronaviruses (MERS & SARS), person-to-person transmission occurred through droplets, contact and fomites, suggesting that the transmission mode of the 2019-nCoV can be similar

The hoax graphic (on the left in the image above) twists that line into “avoid unprotected sex with live, wild or farm animals”:
On the question of domestic pets the WHO said; “At present, there is no evidence that companion animals/pets such as dogs, cats can be infected with the virus,” the group said. “However, it is always a good idea to wash your hands with soap and water after contact with pets.”
