It is with great sadness that we have awakened to the news of the passing of the iconic Nelson Mandela. Cricket Eastern Cape (Pty) Ltd and the Chevrolet Warriors will today remember the life of a man who can only be described as a Legend.
Our condolences go to his family, and with the rest of the country we will mourn the loss of a great leader, humanitarian and father of our nation.
He has played a part in all our lives and if not for him our sporting history would be very different.
We salute Madiba and all that he stood for – may he Rest in Peace.
