Springbok Assistant Coach Deon Davids and Springbok Rugby Player Steven Kitshoff chat to the media after the Springoks 25-17 loss to the Wallabies in Adelaide, Australia after the Rugby Championship game on Saturday 27 August 2022.

Those who were hoping for some ‘controversial’ comments following the widely panned referee decisions on Saturday will be disappointed.

It appears that the ‘RassieGate’ comments and subsequent censure of the SA Director of Rugby by World Rugby have had an effect of what we would term ‘Free Speech’ as both Davids and Kitshoff avoid direct comment on ‘questionable’ decisions given against the Springboks.

One hopes that this lack of vocal defence will translate into the Springboks giving the Wallabies a bit fat PK on Saturday in Sydeney.

Kick off is at 19h35 (11h35 SA Time): Springboks vs Australia at the Allianz Stadium, Sydney.
