88 ‘Push Ups’ for PTSD

Day 7 of PTSD Challenge after being called out by Sarah Daley who is considering being called Eileen ahead of us sailing the 2021 24 Hour Sailing Challenge….

Today we went out to Maitlands to do some maintenance on the Expert Tours and AB Marine Vessels as the day when we can go Whale and Dolphin Watching again draws nearer. I think that manually pumping te pontoons on the ducks counts as MORE THAN 25 push ups.

I challenge Frank Atkinson to do 25 push ups for 25 days – they will help him control that beast he calls a Harley Davidson.

The rules are simple:

Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day.
Everyday you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25
Every day you must nominate a different person.

Let’s reach as many people as possible.Let’s hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness, such as PTSD – you are not alone and we are here for you.

Have you tried: Visiting Port Elizabeth ?

Quick Eastern Cape/Port Elizabeth Fact: IN 2019 around 1.2 million people lived in the Nelson Mandela Bay municipal area. It’s actually South Africa’s second largest city – with regards to its area at least. If you go by the population count, it’s the 5th largest city in the country.
