The Boardwalk General Manager, Brett Hoppé said today; “Due to the untimely passing of South African and world statesman Nelson Mandela, the Zahara Phendula Tour has been postponed until further notice. As this is a time of grief Zahara, joins hands with South Africa and the rest of the world to pay our heartfelt respect to Madiba and his family. New dates of the concert scheduled for this Sunday 8 December at The Boardwalk will be released in due course. Ticket holders are urged to contact Computicket for full refunds.”
The Boardwalk respects the decision to cancel the show as a sign of Zahara and her management’s respect for Nelson Mandela.
