Woodlands Dairy supports Kouga community:

Goodness runs through Woodlands Dairy’s veins, from the well-being of its team to its dairy farmers and the communities in which it operates and serves.

As part of their contribution to the fight against the Covid 19 pandemic, they have been hands on in supporting their CSI beneficiaries through this chaotic time in the Kouga community. Sewende Laan Soup Kitchen, Humansdorp, has had to close its doors due to municipal regulations but have found alternative measures to assist the community in need. They have distributed food parcels with groceries sponsored by Woodlands Dairy. The team has also been working very closely with the Kouga Municipality and Masikhathalelaneni to ensure that the vulnerable and destitute are provided for during these difficult times.

Says Carmelia Miles, Events / CSI / Marketing at Woodlands Dairy: “We care about our community and assist whenever possible. We’ve also been supporting the Shekinah Soup Kitchen, where Margaret Vena boils water at 06h00 every morning in preparation for the maize porridge she makes for the children in Sea Vista, St Francis Bay. Our team has assisted by providing ingredients, custard and extra milk during this difficult period which she then distributes to the community.”
