On 29/05/2019 Shena pledged support for Nelson Mandela Bay’s bid to host the 2021 stopover for The Ocean Race.

Shena Wilmot says:

It would be absolutely fantastic for Nelson Mandela Bay to get the bid as we have so very much in our beautiful city and surrounds that will wow any visitor here. It would be a privilege to be hosts – can’t wait!

Shena would like to assist as: “As the chair of PEMBBA I am happy to be involved with accommodation arrangements.”
