“With 32 of our 43 cinema complexes now fitted with generators, we ensure that the present goes on, even when the lights depart off! The movie will maintain playing on the gigantic screen, and it’s the perfect reply to loadshedding. With a feast of blockbuster titles releasing on our screens over the next few weeks, as we gear up for the much-anticipated festive season, there is something for everyone to appreciate,” says Lynne Wylie, chief marketing officer of Ster-Kinekor.

Filmed specifically using IMAX cameras for a fully immersive cinema experience, some of the huge titles that are being released in IMAX in time for the festive holiday period, include a magical movie for the whole family, Wonka, releasing on 08 December, with the much-anticipated Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom opening on 22 December in time for the Christmas Day long weekend.

RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ, which opened in cinemas globally on 01 December, can be enjoyed in Ster-Kinekor’s luxurious Cine Prestige cinemas nationally.
