Warriors Ram Slam T20 play off in Buffalo Park

By

The Chevrolet Warriors will take on the Nashua Titans in the RamSlam T20 play-off in East London on Wednesday 3 April at 18:00. Thursday 4 April has been set aside as a reserve day should play not be possible on Wednesday.

The Eastern Cape has had a substantial amount of rain over the past few days and the ground staff at Buffalo Park have been working round the clock to ensure that the field will be ready barring any further rain.

A berth in the final will see the Chevrolet Warriors qualifying to participate in the Champions League for a 3rd time which will be held in India later this year.

“We have played really good T20 cricket over the past few weeks and are hoping that this play off in East London will not be any different.  The team are confident that they can keep the momentum going after last week’s great win in Cape Town.” said captain Davy Jacobs.

The squad is as follows: Davy Jacobs (Captain), Colin Ingram, Christiaan Jonker, Samit Patel, Adrian McLaren (wk), Wayne Parnell, Rusty Theron, Athenkosi Dyili, Kelly Smuts, Aya Gqamane, Lundi Mbane, Simon Harmer and Craig Thyssen.
