Kabega Road, Framesby Extention Road repairs/re-tarring

We have received complaints with respect to the condition of the road since it has been reopened.

Herewith feedback received from the Metro on the road repairs:

“… unfortunately due to the fact that the suppliers for big plant (machinery) last week were closed that resulted in what we see now. The contractors will be busy at Kabega Park road today, to re-surfaced the road. Please inform the residents that there will be some road closure for a short period of time during the day”

Ward Committee Elections (Public Consultation) 2017

Please take note that the first consultation meeting will be held on 23rd January 2017 at 18:00 at the Linton Grange Library.

Installing of new water mains at Carpenter road, Discovery Road, Lunar Close

We have received the following:

“SP Excel Holdings would like to inform you that we will be installing a new water mains in the above mentioned roads. The existing water infrastructure is in-adequate to cope with the current water supply demands. The infrastructure will now be upgraded to fulfill the current demands.

The new mains will be running on the verge and may cross your driveways. We assure you that such activities will happen at an appropriate time during the day to avoid any access problems. All driveways affected will be re-instated to their original state after testing of new mains and tie-inn to new mains is completed.

The construction process is estimated at four (4) to five (5) months and is due to start this coming Monday 16th January 2017.
