I have just received a Bulk e-mail from a sitting Ward Councillor asking me to fill in a form to assist said Councillor and “Help DA Win NMB” by VOLUNTEERING to assist on election day as a Driver, Phoner, Street/Complex Captain or Hopper (Door Knocker).
THIS IS WHAT P’S ME OFF ABOUT IT:
- The e-mail is sent to ALL residents in the Ward regardeless of political affiliation race, religion or creed
- The e-mail is an abuse of Municipal resources
- I am sure that this type of politicking using a municipal resource/name is either not allowed or morally unsound.
THIS strengthens my resolve and steadies my AIM to serve residents before politics in Ward 7.
