Alon Lits – Uber General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa and Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism CEO, Ms Mandlakazi Skefile at the official launch of Uber in Port Elizabeth on 8 December 2015.
Alon showed a map of Africa of all the Unique Hits on the Uber App as Africans checked in to see if the service was available in their home towns yet. What was most interesting about the map was that the Unique Hits were almost exclusively along the coast. Showing, I think, the proof that coastal tourism is where the money is!
