Johan Jasson drove me back home on my second ever Uber Trip. The experience was seamless and pleasant and what a joy to speak to a polite man on the journey back – no pounding music, feeling of being safe, no issues. In fact I am beginning to believe Alon Lits – Uber General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa when he said that Uber actually gets people who have never used a metered taxi to begin using public transport. I suppose the litmus test is when one calls an Uber after a night that saw one too many Fanta Browns sliding down ones throat!
