Tweeters Vent Over MBay Megafest Cancellation

By

The MBay Megafest scheduled for 2 June 2012 was cancelled due to poor ticket sales along with the headline artists complaining that they had not received or only had received 50% of their appearance fees and and and a litany of other finger pointing that will go on for a while.

The bottom line is that Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay cannot afford another embarrassment like this again.

This is what people on Twitter had to say about the cancellation:

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
