On 10/07/2019, Tony Bopp answered 5 Questions about Port Elizabeth for publication on MyPE:
1. Are you Port Elizabeth born and bred?: Yes
2. Favourite part of Port Elizabeth?: Central with all the old historic buildings and beautiful architecture
3. Complete this sentence; “Port Elizabeth would be better with …………”: more publicity. I find not enough is being done to promote Port Elizabeth. Port Elizabeth has so much to offer yet always seem to get the back end of the stick when it comes to tourism. This is very sad indeed as I feel that PE deserves more and the people of people would benefit so much with a great tourism drive, hence growth of the economy and more job opportunities.
4. Your PE Secret Spot?: St George’s Park and the swimming pool. I used to love going there as a child with my friends. I also luv Pollock Beach
5. Your favourite PE Memory ever?: Going to the beach, Walking for hours on end and just enjoying what the beachfront had to offer in terms of its splendour and beauty.
