Today’s Traffic Hooligan is DNN 827 EC

26 February 2013 By Alan Straton

This vehicle, registration number: DNN 827 EC, was spotted in 6th Avenue Walmer Shopping Centre Parking on 25/02/2013 at around 03:00 pm.

This image was sent to me by a citizen who would prefer to remain anonymous. She says that she couldn’t spot a disabled sticker anywhere on this vehicle. It certainly is not to be seen on the front windscreen at all.

Reminds me of a recent incident that I had where I told the driver of a metered taxi that he should know better to park in a disabled parking. He was quite rude and got out of his vehicle to show me that he had an artificial leg. Undeterred I pointed out to him that he was STILL in the wrong as he was NOT displaying the required disabled sticker.

All I can say is that even some disabled people have the ability to swear and be rude even when they are in the wrong.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
