The Silver Lining could be a free EP from Faye Gatley

By

Recording artist and songwriter, Faye Gatley, will be launching her new EP, Silver Lining, at the Music Kitchen on Friday, 7 June.

Her debut album “The Way I Play” saw 3 tracks successfully playlisted across the country including her song “I don’t wanna fight” featuring Bryan Mclagan. Faye describes her new work as quirky, fun and very honest.

Faye’s band “The Soloflares” (Liska du Preez, Arthur Daniels) formed earlier this year and together the trio blend folk, pop and rock styles to form a mature “folksie pop” sound. Classically trained violinist, Liska du Preez’ unique playing style fuses folk, rock and pop with classical elements. Easily blushable Arthur Daniels joins the ladies on guitar, vocals and boy can he whistle!

Joining them as guest star is very popular PE guitarist and rock vocalist, Wayne Kallis, who recently performed in Centrestage’s Renegade Rockers.

The evening promises to be a fun-filled, foot tapping and great listening experience for all.

Tickets are R60 and can be booked through the Music Kitchen by calling 041 364 1964. Show starts at 8pm with delicious menu and bar facilities.

First 50 audience members will receive the Silver Lining EP! Table bookings are essential.
