The Future of Business is bright – Top 40 Under 40 2015

25 February 2015 By Alan Straton

The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber launched the 2015 Top 40 Under 40 today, 25 February, at 5:00 pm at The Plantation in Nelson Mandela Bay.

Now in its fourth year, this list of young business achievers in Nelson Mandela Bay is a showcase of the talented and ambitious entrepreneurs, small business owners and corporate leaders from diverse sectors in the Bay.

The annual list, which draws nominations from Business Chamber members and the general public, is a celebration of the contribution made by young people under the age of 40 to business. Each year, the Business Chamber calls for nominations. The final list – decided upon by a high calibre panel of judges – is published in a magazine each February, and distributed to Business Chamber members, its partners and stakeholders and the general public, and made available online throughout the year.

The 2015 list includes marketers and accountants, restaurateurs and athletes, MD’s, CEO’s, broadcasters and publishers. “This annual list provides without a doubt that Nelson Mandela Bay has access to a pool of talent to rival that of any other city in the country,” says Nicole Klokow, who runs the Top 40 Network as convener of the Top 40 Under 40. “Through the Top 40 Network, we give these dynamic young achievers to opportunities to make business connections and grow as entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.”

Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber CEO, Kevin Hustler, extended his congratulations to this year’s Top 40 achievers. “It rests on the shoulders of young business leaders like these to take positive action to grow our region’s economy,” he says. “We want to see young business leaders flourish, as they play a critical role in the future of the Bay’s economy.”

Top 40 achievers are welcomed on to The Top 40 Network, which is the platform that enables the Top 40 achievers to connect directly with one another, to build business connections, develop asleaders, and grow their businesses. “The events that we host under the banner of the Top 40

Network are targeted to appeal to the Top 40 achievers,” explains Klokow. “The events are exclusive, engaging and relaxed, and ultimately help the Top 40 achievers to strengthen their business networks within Nelson Mandela Bay, and even beyond.”
