The Arts in 5 Minute Sound Bites

The Friends of the Art Museum are hosting this year’s first Creative Collective of 2011 at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum from 18:30 to 20:00 on Thursday 17 March. Various artists will entertain you in short 5 minute sensational slots with music, theatre and visual arts.

The lineup includes informative and exciting presentations by Fly Magazine, the Arts Journey and other up and coming Nelson Mandela Bay city projects. Be entertained by the poetry of Poetic Soul and Johnny Fantastic, the comic antics of Gino Fabbri and the harmonica playing of Anthony Keogh. Also on show, Deon Lemmer will present images from his forthcoming exhibition at ArtEC/EPSAC gallery.

The visual atmosphere and good acoustics of the Art Museum is the ideal setting for this gathering of creative minds and souls. Support the arts and be part of a growing creative culture.
