Dear MyPE
Even though the biblical 7 deadliest sins have been well recorded throughout many centuries, I believe that Fame & Relevance should be included as the 8th & 9th ones, respectively.
A case in point is the capturing of macabre video clips and sending it online , worst of all the killing of people in real time. In the South African case, our politicians are more concerned about who (or which party) is getting credit for any menial idea to ensure its fame, relevance & longevity.
There are now proposals to bring in skilled foreigners instead of making amendments to the Affirmative Policy, which was not an initial punitive solution anyway. It doesn’t make sense to me that 2 people make babies recklessly and after 20 years or so demand jobs, housing, bursaries etc. for their children to reverse the propagated 300 to 400 years of colonialism, oppression, displacements, genocide etc. I therefore believe that pride is preventing the ruling party from voting for amendments to a law that might jeopardise its fame and relevance to its electorate in the long run.
Over-looking patriotic born-and-bred Whites in favour of ethnic Africans from neighbouring countries in the name of African Renaissance looks nothing less than systematic Economic Oppression based on spite.
