On the back of the disheartening news that Super Rugby will be reverting to a 15 team format in 2018 and that the Southern Kings could be in the firing line the Kings acquitted themselves well in their match against the Western Force who are currently second on the Australian Log. Southern Kings head coach, Deon Davids, has made three changes to his side that will take on Western Force in their sixth match of the Vodacom Super Rugby campaign on Sunday. Southern Kings deny spying allegations

The recent speculation in an an article alleging that the Southern Kings have been caught spying on the Western Force in the build up to Super Rugby has been vehemently denied. Director of Rugby, Alan Solomons, would like to make it absolutely clear that the Southern Kings team management have no knowledge of the event. Southern Kings wing, Michael Killian, will miss out on the debut match against the Western Force after having broken his arm during a practice session on Friday. Director of Rugby, Alan Solomons, says the break was picked up following x-rays taken over the weekend.
