Port Elizabeth: On Saturday, 8 July at about 22:15, three suspects aged 26, 28 and 31 years were arrested after a high speed chase by members of the Mount Road Operational Command Centre and SAPS Bethelsdorp. Dear MyPE Despite a growing substance abuse epidemic in Nelson Mandela Bay, there is still only one state-subsidised rehab centre in the entire Metro offering only a 9-week recovery programme. Drug rehabilitation is a direct local government competency and it is an indictment on this administration for having failed to establish more outpatient clinics and programmes.
