Body of tortured female victim found

It is alleged that on Saturday, 10 February 2018 between 13:00- 14:00, the body of an unknown female (aged between 20-25 years) was found lying in a storm water drain in an open field in Zunga and Xabana Streets, NU5 in Motherwell. According to police information, a passer-by reported to police, who on arrival found the female, semi naked. Her head and face was covered with a plastic bag.
