50 Bay SMEs who are set to benefit from the Business Chamber’s SME Pro Bono Programme.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber has kicked off its annual Pro Bono programme with 50 local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) who will receive free tutelage support from established member companies. Over 10 companies have volunteered their time by sponsoring free services in the fields of legal, labour, mentorship, marketing, finance and accounting services, including access to markets. On Friday First National Bank (FNB), firmly committed to playing a bigger role in tackling South Africa’s unemployment crisis. A loan agreement in the amount of $200 million (around R2.6 billion) was concluded between FNB parent, FirstRand, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) a member of the World Bank Group.
