Another pothole promise hole

5 December 2020 By Port Elizabethan

Letters to the Editor

Dear MyPE Nelson Mandela Bay’s road network is riddled with potholes and other road infrastructure maintenance problems. Across the Metro residents regularly have to dodge crumbling craters. To fix this decay requires dedicated teams, with the requisite experience, working around the clock using quality materials. Instead – the ANC Coalition of Corruption makes fanciful promises that they have no intention of keeping. The latest promise made by the MMC for Roads and Transport, Cllr Rosie … [Read more...] about Another pothole promise hole

Proposed NMB ward demarcation will further marginalize Northern Areas

28 May 2020 By Port Elizabethan

Letters to the Editor

Dear MyPE The nonsensical ward demarcation proposals for Nelson Mandela Bay by the Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB) will divide communities in the Northern Areas and further compromise service delivery in these already marginalized wards. The proposals from the demarcation board seek to change existing ward boundaries dramatically. The DA strongly objects to the irrational proposals by the Board which seeks to divide the community of Helenvale (Ward 13). This move is in direct … [Read more...] about Proposed NMB ward demarcation will further marginalize Northern Areas
