Young Wayne Jones Dominates ORS
Victoria Park High School's Wayne Jones, 15, dominated Round 6 of the Weekend Post Ocean Racing Series Dis-Chem 3km Ocean Swim this morning in windy off shore conditions. Jones finished the 3km swim in 47min 30sec from Michael Marais and Raynard Tissink in a chilly 18 degree water temperatures. In the ladies race, Rebecca Newman won in 59:21 from Tammy Geyer and Claudia Powell.
