Overall vehicle sales up by 1.6% in February

Vehicle sales lost momentum in February rising by 1.6%, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) said on Monday. "Following the strong start to the year, the underlying momentum had weakened slightly during the month of February, 2013," said Naamsa. Joy for VWSA and GMSA as new vehicle sales soar in January

New vehicle sales registered substantial gains in the first month of the year, growing by 14.1% compared to the 48 202 vehicles sold in January last year, said the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA). September 2012 New Vehicle Sales Significantly Down

August new vehicle sales maintained the steady growth trend of the first seven months of 2012 with sales in the major segments registering relatively decent gains compared to the corresponding month last year. July vehicle sales showed solid gains growing by 18.3% year-on-year to 54 067 vehicles, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) said. Vehicle sales in June showed a strong performance, according to the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa). May 2012 Vehicles Sales up by over 20% on May 2011

Vehicle sales surged in May, rising by 20.7% to 50 229 from 41 625 units in May 2011, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) said today. The 20.7% growth was above the growth rate in industry total sales of 9.4% for the first five months of the year. April Motor Vehicle Sales Increase by 10.5%

Vehicle sales registered relatively strong gains in April, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) said on Thursday. New vehicle sales volumes up 4.8%

New vehicle sales in March have increased by 4.8% year-on-year to 56 110 units, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) announced on Tuesday. Vehicle sales in February showed modest growth compared to the same period last year, growing by 6.4%, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (Naamsa) said. Vehicle sales in January, although subdued, have improved, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) said.
