Eastern Province surfer, Matt McGillivray from Grey High School, achieved was was arguably the best wave of the recent 2011 Hurley SA Junior Championships in Durban when he scored a 9.9 to win his U15 quarter-finals. U14 Port Elizabeth Surfer wins Billabong Pro Junior
Port Elizabeth's young grade 8 Grey High School scholar, Matt McGillivray, won last week's Billabong Pro Junior u14 Championships in large surf at Vic Bay in the Southern Cape. McGillivray enjoyed a solid performance in the final round, outscoring Strand's Steffen Burrows and Cape Town's Jordy Maree.
