19 August 2016 By Port Elizabethan

Today's posts from our featured Port Elizabeth Blogger: Driving the Woody Cape dirt road between Kenton and Alexandria: I have always just driven the R72 between Alexandria and Kenton-on-Sea and have only just seen the coastline and Alexandria dune field from the air on the occasion that the plane did fly this way en-route to or from PE airport.  I have also always just heard how beautiful the drive along the loop past Woody Cape is and during a weekend in Kenton-on-Sea decided that it … [Read more...] about Driving the Woody Cape dirt road between Kenton and Alexandria – Featured Blog

10 July 2016 By Port Elizabethan

Today's posts from our featured Port Elizabeth Blogger: Driving between Wilderness and George along the back roads: Last Thursday morning I did a presentation at a tourism stakeholder workshop in the Tsitsikamma and after lunch moved on to George for a weekend exhibit.  Having had some time on my hands I decided to veer off the main road and pick up a few Geocaches along Bo-Langvlei Road, the dirt road running behind the lakes between Sedgefield and Wilderness.  The plan wasn't … [Read more...] about Driving between Wilderness and George along the back roads – Featured Blog

29 March 2016 By Port Elizabethan

Today's posts from our featured Port Elizabeth Blogger: Driving down Heugh Road by Port Elizabeth Daily Photo: For some reason I also loved the view of the Harbour, with the Rudolph Street Mosque in the foreground, as you come down Heugh Road.  I always wanted to take a picture of the view and this morning I set up my camera on the dash and snapped that picture.  So the picture doesn't have the same impact as seeing it first hand but don't you just love the view of the sea and … [Read more...] about Driving down Heugh Road – Featured Blog
