Mali sets stage for Afcon with crucial win
Mali has set the stage for the 2013 Africa Nations of Cup (Afcon) by becoming the first team to collect the three maximum points in the group stage match of the continental showpiece. Mali walloped Niger 1-0 in Group B's second match played at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Sunday night. DR Congo goalkeeper, Robert Kidiaba, appeared to be riding the world's smallest horse on the pitch at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on 20 January after his team equalised to draw 2-2 with Ghana.
