The Algoa FM Big Walk in aid of CHOC: The 2017 Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer will again be taking people of all ages to the streets of Nelson Mandela Bay on the 4th of November. Sea of pink as thousands “walk as 1” for cancer

November is the time to go pink in Nelson Mandela Bay at the annual Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer, which will be hosted on Saturday, November 4. Hardy walkers raise R210 000 for charity

Walkers braved rain and wind to raise R210 000 for the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC) at the annual Discovery Algoa FM Big Walk held in October 2013. Over 7500 people entered the Big Walk in 2013 and more than 4000 people pitched during the stormy weather to participate in the 4km walk. CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation in the Eastern Cape has received a massive financial boost following the recent Nelson Mandela Bay Herald Urban Run in Port Elizabeth with a cash donation of R126 460.76.
